Why Our Prices Changed

An honest explanation of why some VM Nutrition products cost more than they did before.

WE SHOULD HAVE TOLD YOU SOONER.

If you have ordered from us before, you have probably noticed that prices across several VM Nutrition products have increased.

We made those changes without properly explaining them.

We should have. That is on us.

This page is not asking for sympathy. It exists to explain what changed, why it changed and what we refused to compromise when the economics stopped working.

THE SHORT ANSWER

The ingredients inside our products no longer cost what they did.

Quality whey protein, amino acids, creatine, plant-based DHA, vitamins, minerals, botanical extracts, flavour systems, packaging, manufacturing, testing and transportation have all become more expensive to source and deliver.

We absorbed these increases for as long as the old prices allowed.

Eventually, we faced two choices:

Make the products cheaper to produce.

Or:

Continue making them properly and correct the prices.

We chose the price.

We refused to weaken the product.

WHY OUR PROTEIN PRICES MOVED

Whey protein is the largest raw-material cost inside Whey Isolate, OG Whey, All Day Whey and Sigma Mass.

Whey isolate and concentrate are globally traded ingredients. Their prices move according to milk supply, international demand, processing capacity, freight and currency movement. We do not control those markets. We pay what it costs to secure the quality our formulas require.

The effect becomes even larger across a full 2kg or 3kg container. A seemingly small increase per kilogram becomes a serious difference across every finished tub.

It is not only the whey.

Cocoa, flavour systems, digestive enzymes, packaging and transportation have also become more expensive.

We could have responded by reducing the protein per serving, using cheaper raw materials, removing DigeZyme®, shrinking the container or quietly cutting expensive ingredients.

We did not.

Whey Isolate remains our cleanest flagship protein.

OG Whey remains the balance of quality, taste and performance it was built to be.

All Day Whey remains the versatile everyday formula it was designed to be.

Sigma Mass remains a complete 3kg gaining formula, not cheap carbohydrate powder dressed up as muscle nutrition.

THE TUB COSTS MORE BECAUSE WE REFUSED TO PUT LESS INSIDE IT.

WHAT WE REFUSED TO DO

We could have protected the old prices by:

• Reducing the active dose
  

• Replacing raw materials with cheaper alternatives

• Removing expensive supporting ingredients

• Hiding reduced quantities inside proprietary blends

• Lowering our testing standards

• Making the label louder while making the formula weaker

Those decisions might protect a price for a few months.

They would destroy the reason VM Nutrition exists.

WE DID NOT BUILD THIS COMPANY TO WIN THE CHEAPEST TUB ON THE INTERNET.

WE BUILT IT TO MAKE PRODUCTS WE WOULD TRUST WITH OUR OWN BODIES.

The prices moved.

The standard did not.

We still believe in:

We will continue improving products where improvement is genuinely possible.

What we will not do is quietly move the formula backwards to protect an attractive price tag.

VM Nutrition was built for people who question claims, read labels and demand proof.

That same honesty should apply to pricing.

You may not love every price.

But you should always understand what you are paying for and why.

THE PRICE MAY MOVE.

THE FORMULA WILL NEVER QUIETLY MOVE BACKWARDS.
